VanVeen Residence

VanVeen Project in Twain Harte CA. This is a retirement home for one of Southern California's celebrated builders. Berto and Betty asked for an ADA accessible 3 bedroom 2 bath home. They wanted it to be efficient in design and not to big. The site was very difficult. It had changed hands many times over the last decade because nobody could figure out how to build on it. We found the way and delivered a gorgeous home. My builder did an amazing job. His craftmanship and attention to the little details impressed Berto. This is not a huge monster of a home that you might expect from a master builder. But it is Berto's Dutch sensibility that completed this elegant mountain home. Sometimes less is more. Wood finishes and earthy stonework create a true mountain house feel. We are so proud of this home. Berto and Betty are excited and in love with their new home.
