An ADU for a Grandmother

A sweet little 1,200 sqft 2 bedroom 2 bath ADU for a grandmother who lost her home in the Paradise California Fire. Our client is building this ADU for his grandma. She lost everything in the fire. She really needs to feel settled....to have a home. She has given up on rebuilding in Paradise. It will be years before the infrastructure exists for a safe satisfying life. It must be tragic to lose every piece of ones past. All the photographs, the letters, the little objects that contain memory and feelings. We were honored to design this home for her. She will live next to her grandson and her great grandchildren. Time for new memories. We love what we do because it is so personal.
