Torres Residence

Construction has started on this 1500 sqft 3 bedroom 2.5 bath staycation home.

This home is for a local Graphic Designer and his extended family. The home is located along the crest of a lava cap with amazing views west. The client wanted a simple design and easy to build home that he and his family can use as a staycation residence and rent out as an Airbnb. The primary focus of this home is the spacious kitchen that looks out to the swimming pool/spa. The 300 sqft covered front patio has a built in outdoor kitchen and powder room. Our original concept was to make a Clubhouse that has a fun outdoor feel while also catering to the winter crowd that wants to enjoy the local slopes. The indoor/outdoor gas fireplace enhances the mountain experience and will certainly be a great space to sit and watch the kids swim during the day. I designed the home to be easily expanded. We will be adding another 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a few years.
