Slope House

This home will be located in Leland Meadows, a local high elevation vacation community. This community has many summer hiking and biking activities, a local pond with music and movie events, and amazing winter sports activities including the region's best downhill tubing park. I am particularly excited for this home.

This home will sit on a prominent site. I added many large windows on the front elevation to take advantage of the spectacular views. We want a home that follows some local vernacular while being accessible for my retiring clients. Accessible homes are difficult on a sloped site. We don't want stairs.

The home is set back into the slope. A concrete retaining wall creates a private back patio providing a comfortable environment in the summer for outdoor BBQ and entertaining. The front covered patio creates an inviting entrance to the home while also creating a pleasant evening space for a relaxed evening moment to enjoy the spectacular sunsets.
